Technical Specifications and Pros<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sound System<\/strong><\/p>\n

We offer a new Sound System developed with Harpists and Sound technicians since 1999. This Sound System allows the Harp to be played in many different environments and conditions. The various string pins and their carefully located locations ensure that the natural Harp sound is not distorted. With the accompanying Effect Instruments, a wide spectrum of different sounds can be achieved. Retrofitting of the Sound System is possible for all Horngacher and Obermayer Harps.<\/p>\n

Suspension Mechanism(?)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This special Suspension Mechanism was produced at the request of Nicanor Zabaleta. Thanks to continuous development, the function of the mechanism has been optimised. Technically very demanding, this special mechanism is used to soften the steel strings with the eighth pedal. A layer of felt-coated brass moves towards the strings with the movement of the pedal, softening the sound. The eighth pedal is located next to the H-Pedal at a point set at a distance from the other pedals.<\/p>\n<\/div>
