Chorum organs offer high-quality performance at an affordable price in a modern yet user-friendly design.

Chorum instruments faithfully reproduce the sounds of a pipe organ using Viscount’s patented ARTEM technology (Advanced Real Technology Engineering), developed in the company’s Research and Development laboratories in Italy.

The richness and beauty of the stops are enhanced by an accurate reverberation system capable of recreating a wide variety of acoustic environments, from a small chapel to the largest cathedral.

Chorum organs are highly functional yet simple to use; they can store a wide selection of memories and recall your stop combinations.

CHOOSE YOUR STYLE

The wind instruments are equipped with four preset styles: Baroque, North German Baroque, Romantic and Symphonic.

External Amplifier

The organ has five sound outputs corresponding to two stereo channels and one subwoofer channel. Each organ section or all sections can be assigned to one of the available stereo channels. In addition to the stereo channels, a subwoofer output is also provided. All sound outputs and their balancing can be controlled independently and separately from the internal amplification.

VERY SIMPLE CONTROLS

All organ styles have been expertly pre-set by Viscount specialists; in any case, you can easily adjust the balance of each stop in the community to suit your environment and/or musical taste. Two independent 7-band graphic equalizers allow for further adjustment of the entire organ. All your settings are automatically saved in the organ’s internal memory. You can also save any organ configuration on the built-in USB flash drive.

ORCHESTRAL SOUNDS

The protection organs are equipped with beautiful orchestra sounds (one for each section). In the first manual, you can choose between piano and harpsichord; in the other manuals, the choice is between celesta, bells, harp, choir, fast attack sequences, slow attack sequences, and panflute.

SEQUENCER

The Chorum organs are equipped with a powerful MIDI sequencer that allows you to record your musical performances, save them to a USB flash drive, and play them back whenever you wish; naturally, you can also share your performances with other Viscount organ users. The MIDI sequencer is also extremely useful for teaching purposes; listening to your performance is an excellent way to improve your organ playing skills.

LCD SCREEN

The Chorum organ features a discreet and highly practical LCD screen. From this convenient display, you can adjust all the organ’s parameters. During musical performance, it provides useful information such as Tuning, Temperament, the current Memory Bank, Expression pedal position, and Crescendo pedals.

MIDI

The Chorum organs are fully MIDI compatible. The receive and transmit channels can be freely programmed for each organ section; a complete set of MIDI filters is available, and MIDI Program Changes can be freely assigned to each memory button. All these features make a Chorum organ a powerful MIDI Organ Master Controller.

OPERATING SYSTEM

Chorum’s specially designed Operating System is optimised for demanding real-time operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of even the most complex organs. If necessary, the device’s operating system can be updated with the latest software version, which can be installed via a USB flash drive.
