The SONUS series offers a new and advanced technology in the form of classical organs.

The SONUS series is a classical organ series developed with Viscount’s proprietary Physis® technology, designed and patented in their laboratories. Based on modelling the physical phenomena involved in pipe organ sound production, the resulting sound is incredibly authentic.

In addition to the Physis® sound production technology, we have designed a revolutionary new sound system called RAR (Real Audio Rendering). Thanks to RAR technology, you can completely control the impression of the three-dimensional space in which the instrument is placed, from the smallest room to a large cathedral environment. The new Viscount RAR (Real Audio Rendering) technology represents a significant step forward in terms of sound definition, spatiality and body; it is the most authentic way to create the magical effect of the most important organ stop – the ‘ambience’. When seated at the console of the new Viscount Sonus, you will experience the most realistic impression of the instrument and the settings you would expect from any digital organ you might play.

The SONUS series is equipped with an extensive sound library: using the recording tabs on the front panel, you can select hundreds of additional sounds from the internal memory. Every feature can be easily adjusted using the intelligently designed control panel and backlit display.
