Viscount Ouverture 355 Church Organ
The Viscount Ouverture 355 is a three-manual organ designed with inspiration from the terraced consoles of the famous 19th-century French organ builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. It was developed to recreate the acoustics of a large, reverberant space in an elegant console; with PhysisPlus physical modelling, AcuSphere reverb and a 10.2 surround system with 14 speakers, it offers the experience of playing a real pipe organ. The Ouverture 355 is available to order.
What defines the Ouverture 355:
- French terraced console: A design inspired by Cavaillé-Coll consoles
- AcuSphere reverb: Multi-room spatial reverb that also models the early reflections in the organ chamber
- 10.2 surround: A fully enveloping sound field with 14 speakers
- Dante (optional): Multichannel audio distribution over Ethernet
Viscount Ouverture 355
On the Ouverture 355, AcuSphere reverb and panning work together: the sound of each manual division can be positioned as if it were coming from a different direction, and the sense of distance from the pipes can be adjusted.
With an extensive built-in register library and PhysisPlus technology, the sound can be customised in detail; with the Dante card, many external speakers can be managed.
