Our Services

Piano Tuning

Unlike tuning other instruments, piano tuning requires a separate expertise. We tune pianos before concerts and recitals, for recordings and in homes.

Sharing the make of the piano, its type (grand or upright) and its address with your appointment request makes planning easier.

Repair, Appraisal and Restoration

Depending on their condition, pianos are repaired where they are or in the workshop. The repair process begins with a review of the request:

• Review of the request and appraisal
• Preparation of a quotation covering price and schedule
• Scheduling once the quotation is accepted
• Repair on site or in the workshop (moving the piano to the workshop if necessary)
• Report on the repair, return of the piano and initial handover
• An on-site check and tuning one week later, followed by final acceptance

Restoration: Family heirlooms and pianos of historical value can be restored while preserving their appearance and structure. Our technical team inspects the piano on site and advises on its current condition, the restoration process and the price. The process covers overhauling the action, strings and hammers, inspecting the soundboard, cleaning and painting the frame and refinishing the case true to the original.

Depending on the condition of the piano, restoration can take 3 to 6 months. If you wish, a piano of the quality you choose, from an upright to a grand, can be made available to you during this time.

Piano and Instrument Removals

Grand and upright pianos, digital pianos, harps and harpsichords are moved by specialist movers. Because moving valuable instruments requires care and experience, we plan the move together according to the type of instrument, the building and the date. Contact us for the price and a suitable date.

For Institutions

We prepare special quotations for the piano, harp, harpsichord and church organ needs of conservatoires, music education faculties, municipalities, concert halls and other institutions. Representatives of institutions can examine and try sample instruments from all our brands in our Ataşehir showroom.

We invite institutions that would like to see the production stages and quality approach first-hand to visit the relevant instrument factories. For institutions we have worked with before, see our references.

Renewal by Part Exchange

When buying a new piano or harp, you can part-exchange your current instrument. Kuğu Müzik does not buy second-hand instruments; part exchange applies only when buying a new instrument. For second-hand instruments for sale, see second-hand pianos and second-hand harpsichords pages.

Silent and Player System Installation

We sell and install silent and player systems for acoustic pianos. You can try pianos fitted with these systems live in our showroom. For details, see piano systems page.

Rental, Recording and Concert Space

Grand and upright pianos, digital pianos, harps, harpsichords and other instruments can be hired for concerts, special occasions, school and corporate events. Instruments and venues can also be hired for music videos, film, TV series and social media shoots.
