Steingraeber E-272 Concert Grand Piano
The Steingraeber E-272 is a concert grand piano made in the Steingraeber & Söhne workshop in Bayreuth and the largest model in the range. Many pianists regard the E model as one of the most original and distinguished concert pianos on the market. Developed on the basis of its 1895 predecessor, it has also proven its strength in contemporary music.
Heritage
Built on its 1895 predecessor, the E model was judged unrivalled for Bach, Mozart and Beethoven interpretations in a test by the French magazine Le Monde de la Musique comparing eleven concert grands from the major makers.

Materials & Equipment

Wood Types
You can shape your instrument as you wish: choose from a wide range of wood veneers in a high-gloss, satin or natural oiled finish, and create a look that carries your own signature with black or white lacquered details.
Custom Grand Pianos
You imagine it, and Steingraeber’s craftsmen bring it to life. A grand piano can be made entirely to your own ideas; while your piano takes shape, you can join the process in the workshop and be involved at every stage.
Additional Features
You can add special equipment to your piano: choose what suits you from options such as the Sordino and Mozart Rail for a historical touch, self-playing systems, black-and-white dampers for contemporary music performance and a carbon fibre soundboard.
